Elizabeth (Betty) Jensen, of Old Saybrook, formerly of Clinton and Westbrook, passed away on January 10, at Apple Rehab in Old Saybrook at the age of 96. She was predeceased by her husband Ragner Jensen. Betty is survived by her son Neal Jensen and fiancé Sue Lambert and son Lee Jensen and wife Adrienne and is leaving behind her grandchildren Christopher, Karen, Rachel and Jake Jensen.
Betty will be truly missed by all who knew her as she was a devoted wife and mother. Her selfless spirit effected everyone around her and was always eager to help a neighbor or brighten someone's day. Betty was a devout Christian and always thankful for life's many blessings. Betty was considered by most as an Angel and is with them now. Calling hours will be from 12 noon to 1pm on Fri 1/13 with a funeral home service at 1pm at Swan FH, 825 Boston Post Rd, Madison, CT. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Killingworth, CT.

Although unfortunately I haven't seen her in a number of years, "Aunt Bet" will always be remembered as the sweetest and most caring person I've ever known. She would always welcome you with her smile and made sure you had some goodies during your visit. Hopefully she is sitting at a kitchen table, enjoying a cup of coffee with her sister and reminiscing about their lives.
