Bob Monroe Hefley 78 of Vilonia, died on January 9, 2017. Born January 17, 1938 in Crowder Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Maudie Hefley. He joined the United States Navy on March 29, 1955.
He was discharged with honors from the Armed Forces of the United States of America on January 30, 1963. He had a strong faith in God, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed fishing. He was an avid Razorback football fan and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and his wife of 59 years. He is survived by his 2 sons Teddy and Bobby Hefley, 2 daughters Teresa Lynn Crowder and Susan Williams all of Vilonia, 4 grandchildren Jeremy Crowder (Alesha), Chance Williams (Carrie), Jodie Hatfield (Mickey) and Erika Jaco and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday January 13 from 1-2 with the service following in the Griffin Leggett Chapel. Catering will be provided following the service.
