Joseph Benjamin Paolillo, 79, of Apex, formerly of Coconut Creek, Florida, died Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Transitions Lifecare Hospice in Raleigh.
Joseph was born November 15, 1937 to the late Amedeo and Mattea Greco Paolillo.
He was preceded in death by wife, Anna Theresa Randazzo Paolillo.
Joseph is survived by his sons, Marco Paolillo and wife Cydne, and Anthony Paolillo; daughter, Joanne Paolillo Ingle; grandchildren, Jordan, Jillian, Joseph, Nicolas and Rocco.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

I'm so sorry to read of Joseph's passing. Although it has been years since I have seen him, I remember very well I nervous I was when I went with my father to Uncle Amedeo's house to ask Joseph to be my confirmation sponsor. He agreed! I was 11 and he must have been 18.
