Carol passed away on January 17, 2017 in Odessa, WA. Carol was born on February 20, 1943 in Tacoma, WA to Vanner and Irene Stone. She grew up in the Tacoma area and Later married Jack Costlow who was in the Navy. Carol, Jack and the family moved around a lot for work reasons in Washington. Carol was a great businesswomen with a degree in bookkeeping, and was the owner/operator of two businesses throughout her life including the Cedarhome Market in Stanwood and the Odessa Motel in Odessa, WA. Carol loved animals and was always rescuing and taking care of them. But her greatest enjoyment of all was being a grandmother; having seven grandchildren, as well as two great granddaughters. She traveled a little and took a trip to Hawaii with Denise and Troy. Carol is survived by four children Dean Stone, Darrin Costlow, Denise (and Troy) Kissler and Daryl Costlow, her sister Mary Ann Timmerman and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack in 2004, two brothers Louis and Robert Greenman and two sisters Vivian Johnson and Sandra Stone. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11: 00 AM at Heritage Church, Odessa, WA with Pastor Jon Hayashi, officiating.
