Lisa Carole Hathaway, 47, passed away at Martin General Hospital on January 20, 2017. Lisa was born in Sanford, NC on May 8, 1969. Her parents were David Graham Hathaway and Peggy Leggett Hathaway.
Lisa was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Williamston, NC. She loved people and would help others. She enjoyed singing in the choir.
Lisa is survived by her three children: Ashley, Robin and Megan, all of the home; brother, Richard G. Hathaway and wife Gena of Ayden, NC; and two sisters, Debbie H. Brown and husband Eddie of Greenville, NC; and Annette H. Givens and husband Stan of Mobile, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and good friends who cherish her memory.
Lisa is preceded in death by her mother Peggy Hathaway in December 2014 and father David Hathaway in March 2001.
Funeral arrangements being made at Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston with visitation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and service on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John M. Keeter officiating. Other visitation at the home at 12516 U.S. Hwy 64.

I wished that I could've spent more time with my Aunt Lisa. I remembered the last time that I visited her it was when my grandma was alive. I'm so glad my son and husband got to know Lisa.
