.Graveside services for Norma Lou Conner, 79, of Etoile, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 in the Bennett Cemetery in Apple Springs, with Bro. Chris Bottoms officiating.
Mrs. Conner was born April 28, 1938 in Trinity County, Texas, the daughter of the late Sybil (Horn) and Earl Bottoms. She passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 in a Nacogdoches hospital.
Mrs. Conner was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She attended Scrub Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Shearal F.. Conner, Jr. and James Michael Conner, Sr. and Darchell; daughters, Susie Sargent, Barbara Brookshire and Michael, all of Etoile, TX; brothers, Farland Bottoms and Janice of Highland Ranch, CO, Chris Bottoms and Patricia; sisters, Judy Hensley and Marlene Land, all of Silsbee, TX; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her husband, Shearal F. Conner, Sr.; sister, Anna Reinecker; and 3 brothers.
Services are in the care of Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home

Norma was one of the sweetest people that I have ever known. She was a bright spot in a gloomy day. I will never forget the good timed we shared together.
