RICHARD D. SHEW, 90, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017. Richard was a retired grocery manager at the A & P Tea Company, served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was very active at St. Michael Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his daughter, Linda Listar; sister, Patricia Johnson; grandchildren, Nicholas Listar and Amanda Listar; great-grandson, Ethan Buster.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nila; son, William W. Shew; and sister, JoAnne Bloom.

Service is 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, with visitation one hour prior. Entombment in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Linda: I am so saddened to read about Dick's death - I learned it from a friend who lives in Cincinnati and knew him. He was my 1st cousin and I remember you and your bro when they lived in Kendallville. It seems like only yesterday that I received an email forward from him.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.
