Brent Badeaux Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 2, 2017.

Brent Joseph Badeaux entered eternal rest on January 31, 2017. He was 28 years old. Brent was the loving husband and best friend of 9 years to Jan Wilson Badeaux. He was the proud and devoted father of Bryson Joseph Badeaux.
He is survived by his father Floyd Badeaux, Jr. (wife-Barbara) and his mother Dana Danby (husband-Jeff); Grandparents Nora Badeaux, Joe Dickson and the late Floyd Badeaux Sr. and Sharon Dickson; in-laws Jerry & Donna Wilson; Sisters & Brothers: Melissa Badeaux (Kevin), Christy Ragas (Jonathan), Angela Clement (Chad), Floyd Badeaux III (Toni), Corey Guerra (Tony), twin sister Brittney Danby and Brach Badeaux; many nieces and nephews. Brent had a special bond with his sister/mentor Christy who loved and raised him as if he were one of her own. Brent and his nephew Devin were more like brothers that had an unbreakable bond. His nephew Gaven held a special place in his heart. Brent worked for his father's company Badeaux Marine Transport. Mr. Badeaux taught him the trade of being on the river. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends in Lafayette/Westbank, hunting, and fishing. Brent's heart was bigger than life itself. Family meant everything to him. He lived his life for his wife and son, they were his world. Brent always wore a smile and would lend a hand to anyone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 6:00 PM. Visitation from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and continuing after the service until 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated. Please contact a family member or Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy. Marrero, LA.

Why did Brent have leave us so soon?
If you are religious you may say, "God has other plans for him". If you are spiritual you may say, "something is testing our strengths". If you are literal you may say, "he was in the wrong place at the wrong time". Which ever you choose to believe Brent will forever be in our hearts and we live to pass on his memories.
Our deepest sympathies go out to those closest to him and may the sorrow you feel be lightened by all the love and care that surrounds you.
Sincerely, Brandy, Mike, and Victoria McMillion
