Went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2017. Son of the late Leon and Louise Hawley. Predeceased by his brother F. Neil Hawley. Survived by his brother Norman "Red" Hawley and ten nieces and nephews.
Newell worked at his family's insurance agency for several years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards.
No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will held, on February 14, at St. Mary's Catholic Church 9 S Main St, Holley, NY 14470 at 10:00 AM.

I have many fond childhood memories of my Uncle Newell. He was my Dad's youngest brother and Dad is heartbroken at his brother's passing. May our uncle rest in peace.
