Dear June and Alex,
I offer you both my prayers and sincere sympathy at the death of Hank. We entrust Hank to our good and gracious God, knowing He will be ever merciful and loving to Hank now in Heaven.
I was grateful to share these last years with Hank in our Marianist Affiliate community. He was so vibrant and enthusiastic about being a Marianist, he wanted to share that with others.
Hank was so direct and forthright, almost scary at times.
He had a great devotion to our Blessed Mother, so I entrust him now to our Lady in Heaven.
With much love, prayers, and peace for you both, and may God protect you,
Father Al

He had a personality as big as the ocean and a smile as wide as the state of Texas. What a great friend I had in Hank for nearly 40 years since we met in Cincinnati as neighbors in August, 1977. He was truly the "Ambassador of Enthusiasm" and gave me much support and guidance throughout my medical school years at the University of Cincinnati and when I started my medical practice in Dayton, Ohio. His influence on the course of my life can not be overstated. I'll miss him terribly.
