Mr. Harry B. Rollins Sr., age 76, of Acworth, Georgia, formerly of Austell, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Mr. Rollins was born on August 23, 1940 in Atlanta, a son to James and Jennie Rollins.
Mr. Rollins retired from the U.S. Coast Guard and later went to work for the V.A. as a benefits counselor and also spent time as a Real Estate agent for Metro Brokers. His hobbies were using his computer, Bible study, and being with the grandchildren .
Mr. Rollins is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Gail Rollins; three sons, Brent (Angela) Rollins, Mike (Leigh Anne) Rollins, and Greg Rollins; five grandchildren; Michelle Waters, Dustin Waters, Candice Jones, Hillairy Jung, and Matthew Rollins and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Dan Guider and Ron Cavitt officiating. Interment to follow at Crestlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of service.
