.Irene (Dusza) Addobati, loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away on January 29, 2017, at her daughter's home in Granite Bay, CA, surrounded by love. She was 84 years old.
Irene is survived by her children, Rob, Danelle, and Terrie; grandchildren Christina, Sarah, Steven, Ricky, Alicia, Katie, Jack, and Meghan; and great-grandson, Ryan.
Irene was born on August 25, 1932, in Canonsburg, PA. She graduated from Cecil High School in 1950. Irene married Bob Addobati in January of 1956 and they immediately moved to Sacramento, CA. She raised her children as a loving stay-at-home mom. After her children were grown, Irene began a career with the Franchise Tax Board and retired from there in 1996. Her favorite pastimes included gardening, casino trips, playing pinochle with her dear friends, working crossword puzzles, and watching Wheel of Fortune.
Irene loved her family dearly and was so loved in return. She expressed her love often and left no words unsaid. Her friends and family all describe her as one of the most kind, positive, cheerful, grateful, sweet, and loving people they've ever known. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed so much, but she will stay forever in our hearts.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 16th, at 11:00 a.m., at Saint Ignatius Church, at 3235 Arden Way in Sacramento. All are welcome to attend.

Dear Nell and family, How wonderful to have had a mother who told you often that she loved you and showed you it in her loving ways. You were so blessed. May your memories be your comfort. She lived a good long life and to have been cherished by her family and many others was her reward here on earth for her loving kind ways. Our heartfelt condolences. Irene and Orlando, & familia

"In this you rejoice, although now for a little while you may have to suffer through various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold that is perishable even though tested by fire, may prove to be for praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ." (1 Pt. 1:6-7)

To all of you, the family of Irene: My heart goes out to you. I met Irene only one time - at the memorial service of Bob. She was every bit as lovely as you say she is. Her wit, her beautiful face, her charm and her absolute love of her family was like a shining aura around her. May she rest in peace.
