Linda Hindman Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 7, 2017.

Linda Faye Watts Hindman, age 74, of Kennesaw, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017. She was born on March 2, 1942 in Polk Co., to the late Spurgeon and Jimmie Lou Watts.
She was kind, loving, generous, and an inspiration to her many friends and loved ones. Even during her difficult illness her passion for life continued to shine through until the very end. One of Linda's greatest attributes was her diligent work ethic ranging from a small business owner, kindergarten teacher, and homemaker.
A grateful special thanks goes out to the infusion staff at Northside Hospital Cherokee, whom she called her angels, who supported and comforted her and her husband during her many treatments.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers Roger and Roy Watts, her sisters Eloise McKibben, Louise Connell, Katherine Worsham, and Shelma Stewart, as well as two nephews Michael and Scott Watts.
Linda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Wayne "Hon" Hindman; daughters, Tami (Tim) Thompson and Dina (Neil) Lettre; grandchildren, Ashley (Daniel) Sequens, Sam and Luke Lettre; great-grandchild Catherine Sequens; Two sisters-in-law, Jackie and Janice Watts, as well as a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date for her loving family and her many wonderful friends. Donations may be made in her memory to The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance.
