Mr. Light was the epitome of a dedicated and loving educator. Not only did he nourish our minds, he nourished our spirits... sports coach and life coach. I never would have went to Chuck E. Cheese in middle school had Mr. Light not loaded up a carful of us and taken us there and treated us. He was such a special man. The world suffered an enormous loss on Feb. 9 when his love passed with him.

So very sorry to hear about Bob's passing. My condolences to the family. We grew up having Bob and Pat and parents as part of our family. I remember the many times my grandparents & parents all got together to play cards! Bob even taught at Village Woods were my brother & I attended. We thought it was so cool to have someone who we thought of as family teaching in our school. I will always remember his smile and sense of humor. ❤

I wish to heck I'd have known he was still with us. As a typically snotty 7th grader in 1973 Mr Light provided guidance an discipline during my first year in Jr High. He was the football coach to a BUNCH of boys who had never played it organizationally before. As a gym teacher he could become a little kid, just like the rest of us, and made it a great experience. He could get your attention, make the point, and move on. No grudges. GOD I loved this guy.
