Margurett Gentis Dailey, 95 of Little Rock, passed away February 15, 2017. She was born October 7, 1921 to Arthur and Jenny Lee Gentis in Blackton, Arkansas.
Margurett enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening, and was a world class cook. She was a homemaker. With a spirit so gentle and kind like hers, she was always caring for her children, grandchildren, others in need, as well as her neighbors.
She was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Hulett Dailey; sister, Estelle Dyess; brother, Lawrence Gentis; son, Richard Dailey; and grandson, Joe Dailey.
She is survived by her children, W.H. Dailey, Wayne (Elizabeth) Dailey, John (Nancy) Dailey, A.J. (Barbara) Dailey, and Cynthia (Sergio) Picado; her siblings, Juanita Shaughnessy and Howard W. Gentis; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Highway 5 North, Alexander, AR 72002, from 2:00-4:00pm. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 also at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

No one wants to hear "I am sorry for your loss" because that means a loved one has passed. The one thing & most important to remember is she is with our Lord and we will see her again. I had not seen Aunt Margurett for many years. That is regrettable. We will put you all in our prayers.
