Many evenings were spent sitting in one of our yards visiting with each other: Jane Joyce, Barbara McCorkle, Joann Story, Willene Yant, and Doris. Those were special times with special friends. Doris will be missed by many. May God provide the strength needed to get through the days ahead and may all the special memories sustain you on the difficult days.

I remember all of my neighborhood moms getting together, me included, to eat catfish at Cock of the Walk in Maumelle every once in a while. Mom, Jane, Willene and Doris...they'd laugh and talk and I got to sit there and soak up all that fun, what memories. Doris was a big part of a lot of my childhood memories. Taking me and Deana to school at Park Place. The "flood". Front yard lawn chair visits in the summers. How she could tell a funny story. How much she loved her family. Her awesome memory lives on in all those she touched.
