Dear Grillo Family,

Oh, the numerous life long memories both of our families have shared together. To begin with, I am pretty sure Mark and I were being delivered at The Providence Hospital at about the same time beside one another on March 3, 1963 !

Of course, the stories continue from all of us attending Saint Joseph School - to - a professional level with your sweet Dad's contracting business.

I believe the last we were able to visit was at Mrs. Grillos's funeral and I apologize for missing the visitation and rosary in that I am just now reading this wonderful obituary here late Sunday evening.

Please focus on all of those fond memories and trust your family will remain in my / our prayers.

Vince (& all of the family) DiMaria

My deepest sympathy to the Grillo family-George was such a nice man. I recently saw him at the Pig, and we had a great conversation. I was glad to see him, and he made me feel as though he was glad to see me. He had a wonderful way of doing that--

My deepest sympathy to the Grillo family. My mother always let me know that Mr. Grillo built her garage and what good work he did. May God bless you all during this time and the days ahead.

To the children of George:
Your father was a very honest and kindly man with whom we had the pleasure of doing business. He and your mother came out and we had so much conversation about our children and we enjoyed knowing them so much. God Blessings to each of you. Fredna Prince

George Sands once said, "There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved." I have loved the Grillo family since June of 1991 when I first met George and his family at the Oasis Italian Dinner. Times spent with the Grillos were always filled with laughter, stories, good home cooked meals, and prayers. George was a kind man who always took the time to share his knowledge of cooking, gardening, and sports.
George will be missed but I would like to think that he will always be with us in heart, spirit, and memory. Love and condolences to my Grillo Brothers: Carl, Mark, Henry, David and Family.

The nicest of humans. He went about his work with love in his heart and great intelligence. He and Carl built my garage, and it still there as a testimony to their honesty and hard work. George was a joy to meet and greet, sometimes at the Publix. His station wagon was easy to spot in traffic and I always smiled when I saw it. From one Italian to another: George you were the best that being Italian can be, and as a human being you were worthy of a big hug every time you appeared. I will carry your memory with me always. You have left a great group of kids to represent you. Knowing you was a blessing.
