Doris was a true "Southern Lady" always welcoming and made you feel like she was truly happy to see you. We admired her dedication to her family, friends and Heavenly Father. We were amazed that she could manage to get her family together for Sunday Dinner every single Sunday! She had a sharp wit about her and a love of life and we will miss seeing her at her favorite restaurant - Olympic! Until we see you again Doris, Love Jim and Charlotte

Doris was the sweetest woman I have ever known. She treated me like one of her own. She helped raise me for my first 2 years and always made me feel like I was one of her own. Though I never got home much while in the military I always made sure I stopped in and saw her whenever I would get home. I got to see her one last time during Thanksgiving week, the first time I had made it back in 8 years. I will always treasure getting to see her smile when she saw me. Prayers to all the family that are dealing with this loss. She was one of a kind and I will surely miss her every day. Love you Doris.
