Wilma J. "Grandma" Shock, 73, of Adams County, passed away February 24, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born July 17, 1943 to the late Howard Russell and Kitty May (Apgar) Shock. She worked as a homemaker. She attended Decatur Baptist Church. She was a kind and generous person who never met a stranger, as most people referred to her as "Grandma". She was very personable and loved children, especially her great grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter, Mariann Currie of Decatur; siblings, Howard (Ida) Shock, Arley Shock, and Susan (Robert) Point; grandson, Jared (Shelby) Currie; and great grandchildren, Zebadiah, Zayne, and McKinley Currie. Funeral service will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11 AM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN 46777. Visitation will also be on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Decatur Cemetery.
