Elizabeth Rubio Leyva
God has taken our loving mother, sister, nana and aunt. Chavela passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 in Odessa. She was born on June 14, 1957 in Del Rio, TX to Jose and Dolores Rubio. Chavela is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joann. She is survived by a daughter, Lori Rubio and husband Cal Payne of Odessa, sons, Alvaro Leyva and wife Abby, and Jason Leyva, sisters, Mary Medina, Diane Rubio and Betty Gonzalez, she is also survived by a very special granddaughter, Lizette Molina, whom was the light of her life, also (9) grandchildren and (6) great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Odessa Funeral Home 1:00 to 9:00 pm, with services from 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am. Monday, March 6, 2017 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like to thank each and every phone call, food and flowers. Services entrusted to Odessa Funeral Home.
