Gloria Veleeta McCraw passed away peacefully Sunday, February 26, 2017.
She was a grandmother to Michelle Monroe, and great-granddaughters Victoria Allen, and Alexis Sample, along with Heather Bennett, and great grandsons Slade Gonzales and Caison Brigham.
Gloria was a lifetime member of Beta Zeta Master, and received many awards, such as Woman of the Year, Order of the Rose, Silver Circle, and ended with Torch Bearer. She joined the Sorority in November of 1985, and held every office, including President twice.
She was an Enrolled Agent, before retiring in 2007. She was also an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
She was a member of Waples Memorial United Methodist Church for the majority of her life.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Laney and Katherine Cathey; a son, Michael T. Brigham, and sisters Letha, Ruth, Julie, and Ethel.
The family has chosen a private memorial service.

We are so sorry to hear of Gloria's (Mrs B) passing. She was a lovely and gracious lady. Having known her for 50+ years, could not find a more awesome friend. We will miss her. Willadean L Fitzhugh, Linda Fitzhugh Adair, Mary Fitzhugh Shock, Lana Donelson Ridenour and all our families.
