Aida Patricia Siguenza entered peacefully into heaven on Friday, February 24, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of Julio Cesar Siguenza of 40 years. A loving mother of Cesar Steve Siguenza (Kelly), Edwin Medardo Siguenza (Blanca), Ricardo Enrique Siguenza (Anabel) and Sylvia Rosario Siguenza (Joshua). A proud grandmother of Andrea Sophia Siguenza, Adrianna Carmella Andreas, Edwin Alejandro Siguenza, Johnathan Benjamin Andreas, Juliette Patricia Siguenza, Olivia Anne Siguenza, Isabella Helena Siguenza, Gabriel Enrique Siguenza, Nicholas Andres Siguenza, Leonardo Cesar Siguenza, Annalisa Elizabeth Siguenza, Cecilia Isabel Siguenza and Jordan Matthew Andreas. Daughter of the late Virginia Guillen Carrasco and Roque Carrasco. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her as well.
Age 69, a native of El Corpus, Choluteca, Honduras on June 29, 1947. Aida was employed at Laitram's Intralox Division from 2005 to 2016. Prior to that she ran a self-employed business for 17 years. Her special achievements included her moving to the United States of America from Honduras in 1972. She became a US citizen in 1980. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed cooking, had strong faith in the Lord, mainly spending time with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 4401 Seventh St., Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Visitation on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 5101 Westbank Expy. Marrero, LA from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and at Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday at 9:00 AM until Mass time. Interment following in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
