Wanda Evelyn Whitaker, 85, entered into eternal rest on March 2, 2017 in Midland, Texas. Wanda was born on August 24, 1931 in Hamlin, Texas to James M. and Mattie Scott. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; Husband Dale M. Whitaker; son Lonnie Whitaker; two brothers Edwin Scott and Wayne Scott; and one sister Mary Lou Nelson. Wanda is survived by one daughter Vicky Riley and husband Steve of Katy, Texas; five sons Larry Whitaker and wife Kay of Katy Texas; Danny Whitaker and wife Kelli; Billy Whitaker and wife Becky; Ricky Whitaker and wife Teri; Jamey Whitaker and wife Diana, all of Odessa, Texas; 15 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m. at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel and Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel from 1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel at 10:00a.m. with Dr. Jimmy Braswell, officiating. Pallbearers are Joey Whitaker, Danny Whitaker, Jeromey Whitaker, Casey Whitaker, Justin Whitaker, Geo Davila, Chris Sims, and Ronnie Whitaker. Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors 4635 Oakwood, Dr. Odessa, Texas 79761.
