Jacqueline “Jackie” Mary Lafferty, 76, died on Friday, March 3rd at Hospice of the Piedmont in Charlottesville, Virginia.



Born February 25, 1941 she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Catherine Lafferty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Nancy Lebenns and Sally Ann Lafferty.



Jackie retired from the Long Island Lighting company only to take up a job she truly loved, Zoo America at Hershey Park in Pa. She loved the animals of the Zoo especially the bobcats.



Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Michelle Stanislaus; son, Craig Maurello; granddaughters, Jil Stanislaus, Danielle Stanislaus; grandson, T.J. Stanislaus; and dear friends, Lucy, Denise and Dale.



A celebration of life will be held at Zoo America on April 2nd at 1pm. All family and friends are welcome to attend. She will be buried with her Sister Sally Ann in Cleveland Ohio.
