My heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

Sorry to hear of Eric's passing, we spent a lot of time together rebuilding his 56 Chevy! Haven't seen him sense we graduated but thought of the good times we had together often, crushing the Esplanade and a few street race's as well.

Eric, I always hoped that I would run across you one day and we could reminisce about our senior year at Paradise High School. You were my nemesis on the wrestling mat, but you were a true sportsman and I liked and respected you. Farewell old friend.

O have known Rick my whole life. We were all from Sterling Street. He always loved motorcycles and it was natural he also liked earth moving equipment. Things you may not know. He was a fantastic football player in High school. Two different schools and they both went for two years with no losses. He was a ;lineman and tackle. A lot of people thought we may be good enough to be in the NFL someday but he went his own way.
I remember a time we were out cruising and we were passengers and we all decided that when the car next to us got even we would go, a mini street race. So just as the car gets even with us our friend, Carl, stomps on the accelerator. Fortunately the car bogged down and did not take off, Both Rick and I's mouth went open but no sound came out. It turned out the car next to us was a CHP!!!
Rest in Peace and I am glad you did what you wanted in this life,
Darrell Cooper

Rick grew up with my brothers, jack and Jim Vidal. They were on the same little league team together. Can not forget, during one opening season parade, the truck/ float stalled and all the boys (and they were boys then), all got out and pushed the truck. Haven't seen you in a long time, RIck, but you and your family have always been in my heart and prayers. Rest well my friend
