Major Campbell Wayne Winkler " Winky" June 16, 1945 - March 6, 2017Campbell Wayne Winkler, born in McMinnville, Tennessee, passed away on March 6, 2017. He was a highly decorated Vietnam War veteran, a devoted Raytheon employee, an avid collector of humor, and he loved his life in Barstow, California. He is survived by his daughter Samantha Jo Winkler, his partner Mary Lou Anderson and her extended family, many of whom grew to know him as "Papa Wayne." A Celebration of Life will be held on March 18, 2017 at 1:00PM at his favorite bar, Hooz on 1st, 218 N. 1st Ave., Barstow CA 92311. His Memorial Service will be held on March 20, 2017 at 2:00PM at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Road, Barstow CA 92311.
