Patty Faye "Pat" Bosecker, age 77, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed from this life to the next on March 6, 2017 at Oakview Heights in Mt. Carmel.
She was born July 29, 1939 in Wabash County's Road District 4 to Paige Talley and Mary Blanche Seals Smith. She married Lee Bosecker on July 2, 1961, and they were married for over 55 years. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2016.
Pat was a Christian and loved the Lord with all her heart. She attended Lancaster Christian Church and Lick Prairie Christian Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, and played many hymns for the congregation.
She worked as Registrar at Wabash Valley College and in administration at Northwest Arkansas Community College. She loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards with family and friends. She loved her husband dearly, and their children and grandchildren meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Clarence E. Smith, husband, infant brother Estel Dean Talley, and one son Kelly Ray.
Pat is survived by three sons: Brent Lee (Leisa) Bosecker of Mt. Carmel, Kevin Jay (Jean) Bosecker of Evansville, Indiana, and Barry Lee (Cindy) Bosecker of Bentonville, Arkansas; ten grandchildren: Clifford, Nathaniel, Brittany, Colton, Cory, Sydney, Ainsley, Seth, Zach, Lorelei; and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman (Bonnie) Talley of Mt. Carmel; and one step-sister, Karen (Dave) Post of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Oakview Heights for their exceptional care of Pat.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, Illinois. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery in Albion.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

I so enjoyed working with Pat. She talked often about her boys and husband. Her grandchildren meant so much to her, also. She had such a great spirit and made everyone feel accepted and part of the student services and college family. She has been missed since the day she retired.

I loved working at NWACC with Pat. In the early days we shared an office. She was always so positive, efficient & highly organized. We shared many laughs. She loved her family. I enjoyed listening to her talk about each of her children & grands. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

She always gave such wonderful advice when I needed it, and she would always listen and her shoulder was a good one to lean on.
