Alvin Rockford Brown, 65, of Fort Wayne, passed away March 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 28, 1952 in Tullahoma, TN to the late Alvin D. and Mary Margaret (Whitfield) Brown. He worked as an over the road truck driver. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed old western movies, camping, and spending time outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Pam Brown of Fort Wayne; children, Jim (April) Brown, Bob (Patty) Brown, Mike Brown, and Stephanie (Jon) Linnimier, all of Fort Wayne; step children, Pat Falls, Jody (Lenny) Schlotter, and Chad Falls, all of Huntertown; ten grandchildren; brother, Marc Brown, many nieces and nephews; and several cousins, including Joe (Martha) Lesser and Debbie Adams. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Greg Brown. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
