I knew David when he was still in his teens. Even then, he had a great personality , smile, charm and could converse easily with anybody. When I think of him, I always remember him in a theatrical setting appearing before crowds singing, laughing and making people happy. Since he was quite a Star in our area I wanted my daughter ( then 10) to be able to say one day that she saw him in one of his personal performances and perhaps keep the memory with a 5x10 autographed glossy of Thee Main Attraction! David enter the stage with open arms, amidst thunderous applause and open eyed wonder from his audience. There He was in full official uniform as he welcomed the children and with great joy exclaimed, "Hello boys and girls. "I am Chuckie Cheese!" (Of Chuckie Cheese Pizza and Arcade fame) Yes David was a man of many talents and we will miss all that you added to our lives through the years!

My thoughts and prayers are with my dear friend Barbara and her family in dealing with David's sudden loss. Over the years, I watched him grow from an energetic little boy into a fine man. David had the ability to light up a room with his sense of humor, warmth and extroverted personality. He was one of those rare people who could instantly put everyone around him at ease. I did not get to see him as often as I would have liked, but each time I did, he never failed to make me laugh and smile. I still smile just at the thought of him. Rest in peace, David. I will miss you until I see you again.
