Doris E. Morrissette, 90 years old of Omaha, Nebraska passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Friday March 10, 2017 in Omaha Nebraska after suffering several years of declining health.
Doris was born on September 11, 1926 in Adams County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Edwin J. Fuelling and the late Ida S. Christianer. She married Edward H. Morrissette (a civil engineer) on March 25, 1951 in the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Decatur, Indiana.
Doris along with her husband, was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Papillion, Nebraska.
Preceded in death by parents, Edwin & Ida Fuelling; brother, Delbert H. Fuelling; sister, Marcella McIntosh. Survived by husband, Edward Morrissette, Omaha; Children, Richard E. (Katie) Morrisette, Oxford, MS, Denise M. (Bernie) Asbel, Riverside, CA, Steven E. (Theresa) Morrissette, Mark H. (Heather) Morrissette, Jeffry (Beth) Morrissette, all of Omaha; 5 Grandchildren Marisa Morrissette, James Jeffries, Neil Morrissette, Madison Morrissette, Edward Morrissette; 1 great grandchild; brother, Howard Fuelling, Decatur, IN.
FUNERAL SERVICES Wednesday March 15, 11am, Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 1414 So Washington St., Papillion with Pastor Phil Houser officiating. VISITATION starting 6pm Tuesday, March 14, at Mortuary, followed by a 7pm PRAYER SERVICE. Following the service Doris will be taken home to Indiana and interred with her departed family members in the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials to Lamb of God Lutheran Church
