Joseph A. Boganwright, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away March 11, 2017. He was born in Fulton County, Indiana on April 11, 1923 to Lawrence and Gifta Boganwright.
Joe graduated from Talma High School in Indiana. He was married to Donna Peterson Boganwright on April 29, 1947 and spent 69 wonderful years together.. Joe was a hard working man who worked for the US Postal Service. He enjoyed playing cards, going dancing and had a passion for family and gardening. He was a larger than life character, a charter member of The Woods UMC in Grand Prairie and a 50 year Mason with the Thomas B. Hunter lodge in Grand Prairie.
Joe is survived by his wife Donna P. Boganwright; son Stanley Boganwright and his wife, Donna; grandchildren: Sean Brian Boganwright, Steven Bradley Boganwright and his wife, Julie and 7 great-grandchildren.

Grandfather,
Thank you for always being there for me. Most of what I learned in life, I learned from you. I'll never forget our camping trips, your clever sayings (40 miles from the table, cooling Dallas County, be purty), and losing at card/domino games to our female opponents. We will miss you every day and we have comfort in knowing that you are resting in eternal glory.
Save me a seat at the card table. Maybe we can win one beyond the veil.
