James Hubert Jobes, 92, died on March 13, 2017. He was born on October 26, 1924 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. Preceding him in death was his wife, Esther Jobes.
James was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion in Norfolk, where he has resided since 1964.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, James A. Jobes and his wife, Shara Dee Jobes; daughter, Patricia Ann Wade and her husband, Mark; son, Mark Renn; grandsons: Johnny A. Jobes (and wife, Jennifer), David Jobes, and Mark "Hugh" Renn; granddaughters: Melissa Ann Dascoli (and husband, Jason), Geneva C. Brantley, Bobbie Lee Aguinaga, Heather Lalim, and Kara Renn; great-grandchildren: Nikki Lassiter, Joseph Brantley, Shayla Ann Thompson, Rhianna Thompson, James P. Brantley, Taylor R. Poole, Cayley Jobes, Johnnie Rae Jobes, Isabella Dascoli, Chloe Jobes, and Madison Schwanz; and one great-great-grandchild. James is also survived by many close family friends, including special friends Angela and Aaron Stein and their daughter, Diane, and Christal Fernandez and family.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Kellum Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 3 p.m. with burial to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.

Pawpaw I miss you dearly and I hope you are enjoying heaven and being reunited with Grandma. Alot has transpired since your passing and dad and David has done so much at the house. You would be so proud of them for all their hard work. Please continue to look over us and protect us.
