Lillie Luna Duran was born on March 14, 1928 in Houston, Texas to parents Emilio and Dolores Luna. She passed away in Houston on March 14, 2017.
Lillie worked many years at Sakowitz department store in downtown Houston. After the closing of Sakowitz Lillie went to work for Norton Ditto until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her husband of many years, Julian Duran; parents Emilio and Dolores Luna; her sister Rosie Luna Crespo; brothers Felix Luna, Richard Luna, and Tim Luna.
Lillie is survived in death by her two sons, Daniel Duran (Nikki), Ernest Duran and wife Hilda, as well as numerous brothers and sisters. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Scott (Teri), Stephanie, Gina (Tommy), Mikey, Dana (Astrid), Karla (Eric); great-grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Jason, Nick, Nattie, Midi, Taylor, Caitlin, Ashton; Great Great-grandchildren, Hannah and Audrie.
At this time I would like to thank my beloved wife Hilda for all of her selfless hours of care and sacrifices that she gave to my mother. I am forever grateful to Hilda for honoring me and taking care of my mother. Thank you Honey, I love you.
