Christopher Ryan Johnson, age 30, of Kingsley passed away suddenly, Thursday, March 16, 2017. He was born June 4, 1986 in Traverse City to Michelle Marie Johnson.
Chris married Jordan McCary on November 20, 2010. He worked for Siler's Lawn Maintenance for the last 11 months. Chris enjoyed playing golf and watching the Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings. His children were his life. There is nothing he enjoyed more than spending time playing with his children and teasing his sister, Shawna.
Chis will be greatly missed by his wife, Jordan; children: Caleb, Eliaana, Aaleahya, and Dominic; mother, Michelle Johnson; two sisters: Shawna and Samantha Jo; brothers-in-law: Kayden and Braydon Green; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and In-laws: Frank McCary and Christy Green.
Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Elmer and Annette Johnson.
A visitation was held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 11 to 1 pm at the Benzie Area Church of Christ, 2460 Frankfort Hwy., Frankfort, MI, with a funeral service at 1 p.m.
Memorial contributions in Chris's memory were directed to 4Front Credit Union to benefit his children.
The family would like to thank Siler's Lawn Maintenance for their support during this difficult time.
Arrangements were entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Kingsley.
