Mary Catherine Stokes, 82, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born November 23, 1934, to Clovis B. and Vera M. Kelley Jackson. She was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening.

A celebration of life service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Spencer and Bro. Terry Scott officiating. Burial will be in Jumpertown Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Lana Stokes of Tishomingo; two sisters, Marjorie Ringer of Tishomingo and Sandra Stevenson of Booneville; two brothers, Gerald (Kathryn) Jackson of Marietta and Perry Jackson of Booneville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Stokes; her parents; and five brothers, M.D. Jackson, Edward Jackson, Morris Jackson, Mike Jackson and Tony Jackson.

Visitation will Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday until service time at the funeral home.
