Ida "Frances" Cotten Robertson, 92, of Morrisville, passed away after a long, beautiful life on Sunday, March 19, 2017.
Frances was born January 26, 1925, in Morrisville, NC to the late Exie Lee and Julia Wicker Cotten. She spent her entire life living in Morrisville. She was married to her husband of 59 years, Johnnie H. Robertson and together they raised four children. She was a homemaker and retired after 30 years of service at Westinghouse meter plant in Raleigh.
Frances was preceded in death by parents Exie Lee and Julia Wicker Cotten, her husband Johnnie H Robertson, her brother E. L. "Buck" Cotten JR, her son Larry H. Robertson, and her son-in-law Steve Husketh.
She is survived by her children, Julia R. Boyette and husband Johnny of Raleigh, Betsy J. Robertson of Morrisville, and Myrna R. Husketh of Apex, sister Peggy C. Ridout and Haywood of Cary, as well as 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and several nieces.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Apex Funeral Home in Apex. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
Flowers accepted, or in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials in Frances' name be made to Transitions Life Care formerly Hospice of Wake County. Our many thanks to her care take Linda Perry and the UNC Rex Rehab and Nursing Home staff.

I really enjoyed the pictures that were posted. It's been a really long time since I've seen any of your family, but I remember you well. I have good memories of when your family would go to Sunshine and we would be there at the same time.

Charles and I would like to express our sympathies at the home going of your mother. Charles' mother passed in September of 2015 and I lost my Daddy in January, 2016. So hard to loose parents. May God give your family peace during this difficult time.
