Sidney B. Pennington, 73, passed away peacefully at NorthCare Hospice House on March 22, 2017. She was born on July 4, 1943 to Paul Roy and Gertrude Jones.
Sidney is survived by her three daughters, Angela Johnson, Patricia Ninemire, Linda Biswell, and husband Tim; two sons, Larry Pennington, Jr. and wife Tesa, Michael Pennington and wife Stacy.
She was a nurturing, loving mother and grandmother. Sidney took pride in her family and loved her children. She had 7 grandchildren; Crystal Biswell, Tara Biswell, Aaron Biswell, Colby Biswell, Adam Johnson, Michelle Johnson, Bella Pennington; 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great- grandson.
She was preceded in death by Bobbie Ninemire (son-in-law), her parents, four sisters and three brothers.
A visitation will be held from 6-8pm Friday March 24 at White Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday March 25 at 11am at White Chapel with a committal service immediately following at Mound Grove Cemetery in Independence, MO.
