Mrs. Patricia Holder Chamlee, age 73, of Locust Grove, GA passed away March 24, 2017. Mrs. Chamlee was born in Monroe, Georgia and worked for Walton Mill Textiles for 32 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Stockbridge. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, her church, traveling, singing, and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Emmett Holder; her husband, Claude Monroe Chamlee; brother, Ned Holder; granddaughter, Alicia Stewart and grandson, Jeff Sullivan. Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Scott Sullivan of McDonough; step daughters and their husbands, Lynn and Jerry Hayslip and Carla and Jeff Baker of Cordele; mother, Rachel Bolton of Locust Grove; sister, Liz Bolton of Locust Grove and a brother, David Bolton of Savannah; grandchildren, Michael Stevenson, Nicole and Randall Nichols, April Sullivan, Bo Baker, Billy Jo Baker, Shea and Michael Wells and Josh Bolton; and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral service for Mrs. Chamlee will be on Sunday, March 26, 2017 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Newell and Rev. Terrell Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 12:00 – 2:00.
