Very special friend to my parents and me. We have known Vernell over 70 years. I just found out today about her passing away. I will miss our long talks about my parents and her special Nick and daughters and granddaughter. She is now with her beloved Nick.

Monica, Marcia and family,
Chance made your Mom and I neighbors but choice made us friends. I treasure that friendship every day and will dearly miss her. Please find comfort knowing how proud she was of you and how much she loved you. I will keep you in my heart and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with Vernell's family. My mother, Ruby Jean loved her dearly. She has many memories of them as children. They spent many late nights talking on the phone in recent years. Your mom will be dearly missed. Laurie Hite King William , Va

We send our love and sympathy to all of you and will keep praying for you. She was one of the five surviving first cousins left from the old gang. We have fond memories of the good old days down at the cottage and the times as children at grandma and grandpa Dunstan, when we used to have the family get togethers. We will always treasure those good old days that are gone forever. Love you!
