I'll always be so grateful to Jean for being there for my Mom and for their terrific friendship, it was nice seeing the picture of them together in the photo gallery. Jean sure could make you laugh and tell a good story. She was always interested in us 'kids' and how we were all doing.
My heartfelt condolences to Ellen and her family.

All she would have to say is my name on the other end of the phone and I knew it was Miss Jean. She will always have a special place in my heart. Thinking of you Ellen.

I know Jean is with Mama & Mary Ann playing bridge. I loved her sense of humor, her red hair, her life-long friendships & the way she always said what needed to be said. When I was little playing "dress-up," my favorite gown was the off the shoulder lavender bridesmaid dress my mother wore in Jean & Bobby's wedding. Even though we lived far away for a while, we always visited the Morse's. I have pictures of Bobby & me as toddlers in Grandma Elsie's front yard & remember admiring your cute braids when you were little, Ellen. Jean loved taking care of people...nursing was a good fit. Mostly she was a caring friend. I will miss her.
