Remembering a life is the BEST way to honor that person as well as the family. I may have not seen Melissa later in life - but she had a placeholder in my world during high school. That may have been a million years ago, but her smile and kindness still holds a place in my memories and in my heart. Loss is hard, but I pray that the Lord will continue to help you as you move through life that is forever changed. All the best and in prayer: Peg Carnahan Kucharz

Dear Betty, Michele & Family:
It was such sad news to find out just yesterday about "Doo's" passing. I extend my sincerest condolences and hope you all find peace knowing she is in God's hands and with your husband & father. I recall many happy times with all of you. Especially with Michele in school, laughing when Doo was being the proverbial little sister, Betty & Mike tolerating sleepovers/parties at your home on Gamble, rides in the navy blue convertible, and Michele's wedding, just to name a few...I will always keep the memories of your family in my mind and will continue to cherish those thoughts. Doo, May God forever keep you and your family in his loving care. My Prayers & Love are with all of you during this most difficult time.

Mourn with those who mourn - a directive given by Paul the Apostle as a way to show our love. I am so very sorry for a life gone too soon. I pray the God can bring comfort to the broken hearts of friends and family.
I am thankful that the imprint that she made in my life so many years ago when we were youngsters - still lives in my heart.
God be with you all, you will be in our prayers. Peg Carnahan (Class of '78)

I will miss my good friend Melissa whom I've known for many years. She was always there when I needed her and even helped getting Big Ken to some of his VA appointments when I wasn't able to. I will sincerely miss her contagious laugh and the many times she colored my hair at her home. I have fond memories of pool parties and cook outs at her home. May God's angels carry her to heaven and at her father's side. Peace Be With You Melissa, Janny (Cage Buddy)
