Wilma Jean (Selzer) Sturgeon passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, at the age of 90 in Bloomington, Indiana. After living alone in her home for a few years and after surviving the death of her husbands, her last days were spent for a short time at Garden Villa nursing home. Wilma was the third child of Clarence and Erslie Selzer. She was employed most of her working life at RCA/ Thom son, where she retired in 1987.
Having no children of her own, she was a favorite aunt of her sister's (Alma Stidd) children, Benton, Raymond, Janet. The Selzers and Stidds spent many Christmases, birthdays, farm activities, and vacations together. She was also the favorite aunt of her husband, Jack's nephews, Ronald and Henry Drahos who shared many special times together as well. Judy Payton, her niece, was one of her closest companions and friend during most of the time that she lived alone. The family also appreciates the kind help of her neighbor Kay Schooling.
Wilma survived her parents, brother Maurice Selzer, sister Alma, husbands John E. Buzzaird, and Charles Sturgeon. In addition to those mentioned above, surviving relatives include a niece Linda (Selzer) Fidell, step daughter Jackie Lu Sutherlin and several great nieces and nephews. Wilma outlived most of her contemporaries and at her request there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. She will be buried at Valhalla Memory Gardens on Friday at 11:00 a.m. At that time, all family and friends are welcome to gather at the burial site where she will lie alongside her beloved husband, known to all as Jack.
The family suggests any memorial contributions be given to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of one's choice.

Aunt Wilma commanded your respect by how she lived her life; a life of honesty and hard work. Her kindness & loving spirit touched all who knew her. A simple life so well lived, no wonder she leaves behind a host of family & friends who better understand genuine love and deep caring because of her.
She helped shape my life in many ways,
her nephew, Ray Stidd.
