My dearest Nanny, words can't express the amount of gratitude I have for all the wonderful years of love and joy you have given me. Although we lived so far apart, I still felt your love every single day. It shows how much that big heart of yours extended to each and everyone who was blessed to have you as part of their life. I miss you tremendously, and I do take solace in the fact that I know you are now in a such a beautiful, peaceful place with God. I will forever cherish the memories I have with you, Nanny. I will love you until the end of time.

Mrs. Gill was one of my favorite residents. She and I were very dear friends. My favorite part of my job was listening to her tell me about her family, pulling out those thousands of pictures, and reading her poems for her. My most prized possession is the autographed copy of her book of poems. I'm so so happy I had a chance to visit with her once more recently. I will never ever forget her. Bless each and every one of you.
