Mrs Casteen, Matt, and Family, I am sorry and sad of Mr Casteen's passing. I enjoyed talking with him during my visit with Matt several years ago. In the conversation I found that he loved Louis L'Amour as much as I do. I remember him always listening to Big Band music when I would visit with Matt in grade school. Your family was as important to me as my own while growing up, and I feel your loss, and thank you for sharing your family with me. (Mr Casteen always called me Chuck) My Condolences, Jeff Link (Glen Ridge, NJ)

Mrs. Casteen, I had the pleasure of knowing Ed as he visited AAA Tire Service in Havelock for the Apex Rubber Co. He was an outstanding salesman, but also a great man of character. I enjoyed hearing his stories, dealing with his travel around the area. My father, Sam, thought highly of Ed and spoke of him often after his retirement.
I am sorry for your loss, but Ed touched many lives over his life, and those are better for it.
