James Philip Blair, born December 3, 1952, passed away Saturday April 1, 2017 after a struggle with cancer. He graduated from Robinson High School in 1970. He attended Baptist College at Charleston, South Carolina where he achieved many athletic awards.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Robert Philip Blair, his mother, Margaret Speights Blair, his bother John Blair and his nephews Mark and Matthew Garner.
He is survived by 1 brother, Robert Blair (Verna), 3 sisters, Nikki Hix (Don), Janet Gilham (Jim), Penny Cox (Larry), a step son, Richard Snipes, his God daughters, cousins, nieces, nephews and many devoted friends, in addition to his pet and companion “Little Bit.”
Visitation will be Saturday April 8, 2017 at 11am followed by a memorial service at 12pm at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa, Florida 33609.
