JOEL G. CRUZ
After a five year battle with dementia, Joel passed away at the age of 76 peacefully at the Hospice House in Russellville, Arkansas on January 19, 2017. He was born on Febuary 3, 1940, in Phoneix, Arizona and resided in San Jose, California until he became ill. He worked at Hewlett Packard for 45 years in Cupertino, California. Joel leaves behind his wife Avelina , his daughter Camille, his two sons Joel Jr and Stephen. He will be sadly missed by his grandson Joseph, his grandaughters Brittany, Stephanie and Jayda, his great-grandchildren and family members and friends.
His wife of 57 years was his heart, his life and his soulmate. He was the most loving and supportive father and grandfather anyone could have. He was honest, hard-working and dedicated to faith and family. He inspired us all to live a faith filled honest life and he was a man of god. He was a faithful 49er football fan and loved country music.
We will forever hold you in our hearts....We miss you so much.....

I miss you so much Dad... there's not one day that goes by that I don't think about you..... it's been a little over eight months and I can't stop crying wishing you were here with me so I can just hug and kiss you one more time.... I love you Dad and I can't wait to see you again...
