Hunter, Raymond Elmer Jr. 94 of Clearwater died Tues April 4th at Palm Garden of Clearwater. Born June 13, 1922 in Riverside, New Jersey he was the son of Raymond and Mary Welsh Hunter. Raymond worked maintenance at Manasquan, New Jersey High School retiring in 2003. He served in the US Army during WWII, he was a purple heart recipient. He was a lifetime member of the VFW #1333 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Raymond is survived by his wife of 63 years Dolores Francis Hunter of Clearwater whom he married Oct. 4, 1963. Daughters Lorraine (Bob) Hunter-Veltman-Hermann 0f Arizona, Lynn (Edward) Ward 0f New Jersey, Robyn Hunter of New Jersey and Kim (Brian) Lofton of Largo, Florida, brother, Robert Hunter of New Jersey, grandchildren Talena Ward, Eddie Ward, Cheryl Veltman, Glen Veltman, Danilee, Breanne and Frank Mancuso and Giavanna Lofton, 6 great grandchildren. Raymond is pre deceased by his granddaughter Alexis Lofton. Funeral Service will be 2pm Monday April 10th at Sylvan Abbey United Methodist Church, 2817 Sunset Point Rd. Clearwater, Florida, 33759. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2pm. Burial will follow ay Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater
