Jean Anne O'Neill Maurer, 89, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017. Jean was born in New York City, NY on November 8th, 1927 to John and Margaret O'Neill. She married John Maurer on April 24, 1954.
Jean is survived by her five children; Kenneth and Nancy of Oviedo, FL; Robert and Carol of Palmer, AK; Edward and Nancy of Tampa, FL; Richard and Angela of Merritt Island, FL and Diane Bair of Merritt Island, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband John in 2014 and her daughter Nancy Totten of Rockledge, FL in 2013. Jean is also survived by nine grandchildren two great grandsons, one step great grandson and one step great granddaughter.
Jean was a homemaker and loved being a mother to her six children. She and her husband, John, were founding members of Divine Mercy in 1964 and her faith was an important part of her life. She was a loving mother and will be tremendously missed by both her children and grandchildren.
A visitation is scheduled for today Friday April 7, 2017 from 7:00 P.M. ~ 9:00 P.M. at Wylie~Baxley Funeral Home, located at 1360 N. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, FL
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Merritt Island, FL on Saturday, April 8 at 10:45 A.M. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.wyliebaxleymerrittisland.com
