Christine Ellen Ekenbarger, 49, of Barstow, CA, passed away April 2, 2017. She was born in Barstow, CA on May 22, 1967. Christine graduated from Central High School. She was married to Robert Ekenbarger on May 23, 2003. Christine worked as a Paraeducator for Barstow Unified School District. She had a passion for her family, Disneyland, and Las Vegas. She was survived by her father Arthur Bandeka; her children Nicholas Brobst, Kaitlyn Brobst, Christopher Ekenbarger, and Abigail Ekenbarger; grandchildren Gracelynn Brobst and Gavin Brobst; her siblings Tammy Hardison, Arthur Bandeka Jr., and Karen Bandeka; and her extended family Sara and Lilian Kardouni. Funeral arrangements will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on April 11, 2017 with Viewing at 4pm and Rosary at 6pm. Mass will be 10am at St. Joseph’s on April 12, 2017, burial will follow shortly after.
