DeSaro Sr., Joseph Vincent, age 97 passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. Joe was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII. He retired from DESC and WPAFB after many years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, was an usher for the Church of the Incarnation, and loved to dance. He was also a member of the Packard Club, Sons of Italy and the Lionel Model Railroader Association of Dayton. Preceded in death by his first wife of 60 years, Mary F. (Dinus) DeSaro, son-in-law Mike McWilliams, son-in-law Frank Sebesta, brother Gus DeSaro, and his sister Marie VanWert. Joe is survived by his wife Irene, brother Charles DeSaro, his children; Rose Ann Sebesta, Annette (Alan) Hoover, Joe (Debbie) DeSaro Jr., and Mary Lou McWilliams, nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way, numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, April 10, 2017 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – Far Hills Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Church of the Incarnation. Entombment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of choice in Joe's memory. Condolences may be sent to www.tobiasfuneralhome.com
